About Us
Access Construction & Design was started in 1990 to specialize in home renovations for the physically challenged. Throughout the years the business has grown to include additions, new home construction, lift systems, elevators, home evaluations, consulting, and design work. We have three licensed contractors, a licensed elevator contractor, two design professionals, and a Certified Aging in Place Specialist (CAPS) on staff.
At Access Construction & Design we continually research the latest rehab equipment on the market and barrier free design techniques as well as work closely with therapists, case managers, physicians, care givers, and others to find the best possible solution for our clients needs. Our passion for detail and craftsmanship is reflected in each and every project where we will be with you from concept to completion to insure quality, convenience, and confidence.
We have completed barrier free projects in Michigan for over fifty different insurance companies. (references can be provided upon request)
